Kay

Following recordings released on the Christo and Calypso labels, Aubrey “Bolo” Christopher issued many more 78s and 45s on the Kay label. Both the 78 and 45 RPM series were pressed in Britain, but were recorded in Trinidad.

According to Teddy Pinheiro, Kay was Christopher’s daughter. The “CRS” in the 78 catalog numbers correspond to Christopher (Brothers Cycle and) Radio Service, 7 Nelson Street, Port of Spain.
